"You may not hear my words, but look into my eyes and listen with your heart."
It is that time of year again and we would love for you to join Team Lilly's Friends at the JCC - Creve Coeur on Saturday, May 4 for the 12th annual Rett Syndrome Strollathon. This event, like others across the country, raises critical funds for research in finding treatments and (fingers crossed) a cure for Rett Syndrome. We chair this event, which has raised $650,000 in the last eleven years.
Lilly is now 19 and graduated from Parkway Central High last year. She is remaining at PCH post graduation for more classes and volunteer/work opportunities. Overall, she is doing great and would love to see you at this year's Strollathon. She enjoys swimming, horseback riding, family vacations, playing with her service dog Dixon and hanging out with friends and family. We still face daily challenges, but we are thankful for every smile and laugh from Lilly.
We are extremely excited that a Rett clinic opened right here at St. Louis Children's Hospital. This should make getting great care from a team of professionals knowledgeable about Rett syndrome much easier for so many.
Thank you so much for your support. Your help is our hope!
