1st Annual South Carolina Strollathon

Kelsey's Krewe

Greetings!

We are asking for your support! I know - we have all participated in runs, bought wrapping paper and eaten boxes of cookies. So why sponsor Kelsey's Krewe? This could change Kelsey's life!

The Croissants, family and friends, are walking in the first South Carolina RETT SYNDROME Strollathon on October 24, to raise money for research that will benefit Kelsey. The Strollathon is Rettsyndrome.org’s signature fundraising and awareness event, to raise money for essential research of effective treatments and to find a cure for Rett syndrome. This casual stroll has a fun and energetic festival atmosphere - so Kelsey's Krewe has a Mardi Gras theme for our team!

Rett syndrome is a genetic neurological disorder occurring almost exclusively in females and becoming apparent after 6-18 months of early normal development. The resulting regression leads to lifelong impairments, including lost speech, seizures, scoliosis, irregular breathing patterns, and more than half of the children and women lose the ability to walk. Those diagnosed with Rett syndrome require maximum assistance with basic daily activities.

Your donation will help fund important research and family support. This cause is very important to us and we appreciate your help as we fight for a cure for Rett syndrome!

Please join us at the Strollathon or donate to Kelsey's Krewe to support Rettsyndrome.org in finding a cure! Your help is our hope!

Thank you!

Robert, Sharon and Kelsey Croissant
