18th Annual Cincinnati Strollathon: Virtual Edition

Leah's Little Angels

Leah is getting excited for her 5th strollathon this year! While she wishes everyone could be together in person, we will make the best of another virtual event this year!  Leah has been lucky enough to continue to stay in school through most of COVID, which thankfully so since it is still her favorite place. She has had a great year, still impressing us and others with her comments on her eye gaze device, getting stronger with her therapies, doing a dance class in the spring, swimming all summer, playing soccer this fall, and is really enjoying seeing many of her friends again.  Thanks again to her awesome sea of purple shirts raising money for all girls like Leah in order to give them the best opportunity to be themselves! We can't thank you enough for your support!

Rett syndrome is a genetic neurological disorder occurring almost exclusively in females and becoming apparent after 6-18 months of early normal development. The resulting regression leads to lifelong impairments, including lost speech, seizures, scoliosis, irregular breathing patterns, and more than half of the children and women lose the ability to walk. Those diagnosed with Rett syndrome require maximum assistance with basic daily activities.

Your donation will help fund important research and family support. This cause is very important to me and I appreciate your help as we fight for a cure for Rett syndrome!

Please join me or donate to my efforts to support Rettsyndrome.org in finding a cure! Your help is our hope!
